VistaJet updates sustainability pledge progress, announces partnership with aviation fuel pioneer

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 23 — VistaJet recently announced the progress on its Sustainability in Aviation pledge, launched in January, to rapidly reduce its carbon footprint and explore all routes to higher levels of sustainability.

According to a statement, VistaJet provides update on its eight pillars of sustainability including Fuel Consumption Reduction Technology and Fuel Efficient Booking System.

To date, using the FLIGHTKEYS 5D flight management system, the company has been able to optimise route, level and speed to reduce fuel consumption by eight per cent per flight.

Booking with at least one week’s notice helps to further improve fleet management, reducing unnecessary fuel burn. Customers who are more flexible on departure city airport selection have already helped to reduce movement around London airports by 20 per cent in 2019, cutting several tonnes of CO2.

In the same statement, the company also announced a market-leading partnership with SkyNRG, pioneer and global leader for sustainable aviation fuel. VistaJet is offering all of its global customers an access to sustainable aviation fuel, promoting substantial reductions in aviation carbon emissions, and increasing stable demand and availability worldwide.

Partnering with SkyNRG will offer VistaJet customers the most sustainable, cost-effective and scalable solution to decarbonise their flights, while helping to grow adoption across the entire industry.

VistaJet has dedicated itself to reducing its environmental footprint and affecting positive change through innovation.
